About od[force]

For the past 10 years od[force] has been the premiere (ok, the only) Houdini based resource site on the web. Our goal has always been to keep you informed about all the latest techniques available to create the greatest visual effects possible. Bringing together users in a profesional and friendly environment has been our greatest achievement, and we certainly wouldn't be where we are wthout our amazing community.

We have many more things planned for the site which will hopefully translate into higher quality educational resources for you, so stay tuned.

 

About Houdini

Houdini is arguably the most complete visual effects package available. With the last few versions it's proving itself to be an admirable character animation tool as well. The procedural workflow lends itself well to any part of an effects or animation pipeline. Combined with an open workflow that almost forces you to experiment to get the best work possible, once you've used it it’s hard to go back to other 3D packages. Of course, we may be biased... but perhaps that’s why we make such a cool Houdini site.
