Gelato

Gelato is a renderer which has a RenderMan compliant front end. Gelato is developed at Nvidia and takes advantage of their GeForceFX and above cards to assist with the rendering task. http://film.nvidia.com/page/gelato.html

Gelato provides several different front ends (aside from RIB) including a python interface.
