Character Tools : Kinematic Solvers
Houdini provides a few Kinematic Solvers with its CharacterTools:
- InverseKinematics : All the bones in a chain reach for a goal, with optional twist controls and constraints
- FollowCurveKinematics : Bones attempt to lie on a curve
- ForwardKinematics? : Each bone reached for their own goal
- NoKinematics? : Joints respond only to rotational information on each bone
