What it does

The Model SOP does nothing. In Houdini 4.0 and earlier, the Model SOP was used to enter the special non-procedural modeller. This was removed in Houdini 5.0. However, in order that older .hip files still load with their Model SOPs intact, the SOP remains with us to this day.
