What is it?

Rivet Object (relatively new in H7) allows one to take a transform of a geometry at the object level, without needing to worry about the whole transform of the Object hierarchy, and apply it to a single transform in the Rivet Object. Rivet Object also requires that you specify a point or a group of point to "nail" a null onto.

Typically, without the Rivet Object, one will need to take a Null Object and apply an origin function (e.g. origin, originoffset, etc.) to take the transform of the whole object hierarchy (world space) plus a point in object space via a point().

The nice thing about Rivet Object is that it allows for for orientation by specifying three points in the Point Group. The first two points specified in the Point Group specify an x vector, while the third point will create an xy-plane. Z axis will be pointing in the direction of according to winding-order (clockwise or counter-clockwise)

Rivet Object does not to take into account of rotation or scales. However, it will take into account of Pre-Transform.
