Hey Edward, one your latest comments about where to install DSO's: doesn't hcustom default to writing to $HOME/houdiniP.Q/dso? If so, the default behaviour is misleading, don't you think? Perhaps it could be changed? --JasonIversen 17:15, 24 September 2006 (PDT)

Another comment/question on VEXdso's: it seems that if your VEXdso code doesn't rely on any any other part of the HDK that VEXdso's seem to be able to be valid across a wide range of builds. For example, the HoudiniOceanToolkit uses no other part of the HDK. How dangerous is this practise? --JasonIversen 17:15, 24 September 2006 (PDT)
- My guess is that the VEXdso's depend on the lower levels of the HDK that aren't prone to change a lot, thus making them more likely to work across builds. --edward 20:21, 24 September 2006 (PDT)
