HoudiniApprentice will apply a small watermark of the Side Effects logo in the lower right corner of image generated by Houdini. If an Apprentice user renders to .pic images, this watermark will only be burned in when converting to a non-proprietary format (like .jpg) or when displaying the image. The image will not have the watermark for texturemapping and compositing purposes.

Side Effects have released a version of Apprentice called HoudiniApprenticeHD (designed for non-commercial work for students) which doesn't burn in the watermark.
